Dr. Mohammad Nami is an accomplished neuroscientist and clinician currently serving as an Associate Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Iran. He holds an MD degree and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience, complemented by a Fellowship in Sleep Science and certification in Health Communication from Harvard Medical School. His multidisciplinary academic journey has equipped him with a strong foundation in neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and clinical brain research. Dr. Nami’s research primarily focuses on cognitive neuroscience, sleep and consciousness studies, neurodegenerative disorders, neuroplasticity, and the neural correlates of behavior and cognition.
