Dr. Mohammad Nami is an accomplished neuroscientist and clinician currently serving as an Associate Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Iran. He holds an MD degree and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience, complemented by a Fellowship in Sleep Science and certification in Health Communication from Harvard Medical School. His multidisciplinary academic journey has equipped him with a strong foundation in neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and clinical brain research. Dr. Nami’s research primarily focuses on cognitive neuroscience, sleep and consciousness studies, neurodegenerative disorders, neuroplasticity, and the neural correlates of behavior and cognition. He has authored and co-authored numerous high-impact publications in international peer-reviewed journals, contributing significantly to advancing knowledge in brain science and mental health. Dr. Mubin Mustafa Kiyani, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Shifa College of Medical Technology, Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University, Islamabad, is a distinguished health scientist with over two decades of academic and research experience in medical and life sciences. He earned his Ph.D. in Biotechnology (Medical Nanobiotechnology) from the International Islamic University, Islamabad, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles for potential applications in gout treatment, after completing an M.Phil. in Biochemistry from Quaid-i-Azam University with a thesis on homocysteine as a risk factor in coronary heart disease, alongside an M.Sc. in Biology and B.Sc. in natural sciences. His research spans medical nanobiotechnology, clinical biochemistry, molecular biology, cardiovascular biomarkers, metabolic disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases, contributing to advancements in nanomedicine and translational health sciences. Dr. Kiyani has published extensively in high-impact journals such as ACS Omega, Molecular Biology Reports, Inflammopharmacology, and the Journal of Molecular Neuroscience, with notable studies on cardiovascular risk factors, neuroinflammation, and therapeutic potential of nanoparticles in metabolic and inflammatory diseases.
