Dr. Maxim Pavlovich Evstigneev is the Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies at Sevastopol State University, Russian Federation. He earned his Ph.D. and Doctor of Science (DrSci) in Biophysics and was later appointed Full Professor of Physics. Dr. Evstigneev’s research focuses on the thermodynamics of drug interactions, biophysical chemistry, and nanoparticle interactions, with pioneering contributions in understanding DNA-binding drug mechanisms and the biomedical potential of C60 fullerenes. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and several scientific books, including DNA-binding Aromatic Drug Molecules: Physico-chemical Interactions and Their Biological Roles and Structure, Thermodynamics and Energetics of Drug-DNA Interactions. His scientific impact is reflected through extensive citations and global recognition. Dr. Evstigneev has received multiple prestigious honors, including awards from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the President of Ukraine Award to Young Scientists, and recognition as the youngest Doctor of Sciences in Ukraine.
