Dr. K. Vinod Kumar is a distinguished Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance at Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (RIPER), Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh. He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from JNTUH, Hyderabad in 2017, following an M.Pharmacy from KMCH College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore, and a B.Pharmacy from Nalanda College of Pharmacy, Nalgonda. With over 16 years of experience in pharmaceutical education and research, Dr. Kumar’s expertise spans pharmaceutical analysis, quality control, method development and validation, impurity profiling, stability studies, and the application of advanced analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-VIS spectrophotometry, and FT-IR spectroscopy. His research has led to the development of numerous validated analytical methods for simultaneous estimation of active pharmaceutical ingredients in dosage forms, with more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals and presentations at national and international conferences. He has guided multiple M.Pharmacy dissertations and ongoing Ph.D. research, fostering the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists. Dr. Kumar has been recognized with research grants under the AICTE MODROBS scheme and for conducting Short-Term Training Programs (STTP), reflecting his contributions to academic and professional development in pharmaceutical sciences. He holds memberships in professional bodies including the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), ISPOR, and IPGA, and serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals, contributing to the advancement of pharmaceutical research and quality assurance practices.
